Discover the Markets We Serve

  • Maximize REAP grants, tax credits, and depreciation benefits all centered around US farming and ranching.

  • Designed to work with your existing operations, using rooftops, barns, and low-impact ground mounts to save your valuable land for crops, grazing, or future expansion.

  • With solar and battery storage, you can maintain power for essential equipment, like refrigeration, water pumps, and lighting, ensuring your operations continue uninterrupted during grid outages or extreme weather.

  • Transition to clean, renewable energy to reduce your carbon footprint and demonstrate environmental responsibility, contributing to global efforts against climate change while aligning with green business practices.

  • Reduce dependence on the utility grid, protect your operations from energy price fluctuations, and ensure reliable power generation tailored to your business’s unique needs and goals.

  • Benefit from the federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC) for up to 40% of solar installation costs, accelerated depreciation (MACRS), and other applicable incentives.

  • Community solar provides individuals and businesses access to solar energy without requiring rooftop installations or upfront capital investments, making clean energy more affordable and accessible for everyone.

  • By participating in a community solar program, you can reduce your carbon footprint, support renewable energy generation, and contribute to the fight against climate change.

  • Community solar projects create local jobs, enhance energy infrastructure, and provide financial benefits to communities, ensuring a positive environmental and economic impact.

Tax Incentives for Installing Solar

    • You can claim a tax credit of 30% of the cost of installing solar energy systems.

    • The 30% credit is available for systems installed between 2022 and 2032. The credit decreases to 26% for systems installed in 2033 and 22% for systems installed in 2034. The tax credit expires starting in 2035 unless Congress renews it.

    • This credit applies to residential (Residential Clean Energy Credit), commercial, industrial, and utility-scale properties. The ITC can be claimed on federal income taxes for a percentage of the cost of installing solar energy property.

    • An additional 10% tax credit is available for projects that meet domestic content requirements, meaning a certain percentage of the project's components are manufactured in the United States.

    • This bonus applies to both the Residential Clean Energy Credit and the Investment Tax Credit, potentially increasing the total credit to 40% for qualifying projects.

    • Businesses can recover investments in solar property through depreciation deductions.

    • Under MACRS, solar energy equipment is classified with a five-year depreciation period, allowing businesses to deduct a significant portion of the system's cost from their taxable income over this period.

    • Transferable tax credits, introduced under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022, allow taxpayers to sell all or a portion of their eligible clean energy tax credits to unrelated parties in exchange for cash. This mechanism provides flexibility for entities that may not have sufficient tax liability to fully utilize these credits, enabling them to monetize the benefits and improve project financing.

    • Certain tax-exempt entities, such as nonprofits and local governments, can receive a direct payment from the IRS equivalent to the amount of the tax credit, enabling them to benefit from these incentives even though they don't pay federal taxes.
